The Welding Institute monitors the construction of the gas interconnector between Bulgaria and Serbia, which is of strategic importance for the energy sector of the Republic of Serbia. Radiographic testing of welding joints is performed continuously, in accordance with the welding dynamic performed by Konvar doo Belgrade and HABAU from Romania. The construction of this pipeline will enable the gas supply from multiple sources, such as Azerbaijan and the LNG terminal in Alexandroupolis, Greece.

The Welding Institute will confirm the construction works in accordance with the project’s requirements.
