ZAVOD-CERT is a separate, independent internal entity of the Welding Institute, whose activity is: providing certification services for the Welding Quality Management System according to the EN ISO 3834 standard for manufacturers of welded products and constructions.
Authorization
ZAVOD-CERT is the Authorized National Body of Serbia for certification of companies according to the EN ISO 3834 standard.
ZAVOD-CERT is authorized by the International Institute of Welding (IIW) to perform assessment and certification on its behalf in accordance with the „Manufacturer Certification Scheme“ (IIW MCS) developed by the mentioned international organization. There can only be one Authorised Nominated Body for Company Certification (ANBCC) in the country it represents in the International Institute of Welding and its compliance with the „Rules of the International Institute of Welding“ is being evaluated as well as the work that is monitored by the assessors of the mentioned international organization.
The primary tasks of ZAVOD-CERT in the role of ANBCC are:

Implementation of the requirements of the International Institute of Welding for the Manufacturer Certification Scheme;

Ensuring that the adopted standards for assessment and certification are maintained;

Promotion of manufacturer certification in accordance with the Rules of the International Institute of Welding;

Implementation of the IIW certification scheme according to EN ISO 3834 including:

- Qualification of assessors and technical experts for EN ISO 3834,

- Assessment of manufacturers,
-
- Certification of manufacturers, management and storage of relevant data.
