Rules for the use of certification – ZAVOD CERT

The certified manufacturer of welded products and constructions has the right to publish their certification in a way that is acceptable to them, while respecting the following rules:

1. The publication of the certification must be only for activities related to the certification scope, in a way that shows a true and accurate picture of the capability of the manufacturer covered by the certification. There can be no confusion about certified and noncertified welding activities.

2. Certification can be printed in catalogs and prospectuses only with stating the full title for which the manufacturer is certified. It is mandatory to state the standard according to which the certification was issued.

3. When publishing the certification, the manufacturer refers to the Certification Body using the expression: „Certified by the Welding Institute - ZAVOD-CERT“.

4. The manufacturer may not make changes to the certificate or copies of the certificate.

5. The manufacturer may use certificate copies only in their entirety, including the Annex to Certificate (Validity of Scope Certification).

6. The manufacturer may not publish or use the issued certification for production that is outside the specified scope of validity.

7. The certification may not be highlighted on the manufacturer’s products and/or on their packaging, nor may they refer to the certification in such a way that third parties can be misled that it is a certified product.

8. The manufacturer may not refer to the certification as if it were an accreditation.

9. The manufacturer may not use the certification in such a way that it implies that ZAVOD-CERT is responsible for the welding activities of the manufacturer.

If ZAVOD-CERT is made aware according to objective evidence that the certified person uses the certification in a way that damages the reputation of the Institute and reduces its credibility, they will revoke the certification.
