Obligations of certified manufacturers and applicants for certification according to EN ISO 3834 – ZAVOD CERT

Certified manufacturer and company - applicant for certification according to EN ISO 3834 undertakes:

 

1. That, upon submitting the request, they will provide ZAVOD-CERT with all accurate data regarding the company identity, registered activities, responsible persons, previous authorizations and recognized competence, as well as other data that are relevant for all certification stages, and that they will cooperate with the team of assessors and other officials of ZAVOD-CERT.

 

2. That they will properly settle all financial obligations and fees arising from the issuance and maintenance of certification.

 

3. That their production, which results from the obtained certification, will always be in compliance with the relevant provisions that served as the basis for the certification.

 

4. That they will notify ZAVOD-CERT without delay, and within one month at the latest, of all changes affecting the conditions under which the certification was granted, which occurred during the duration of the certification. Examples of such changes are: organizational status or ownership; key management personnel or technical personnel; contact addresses; scope of work within the certification; the main changes in the production process.

 

5. That they will enable representatives of ZAVOD-CERT to monitor compliance with the certification scheme and appropriate certification criteria (during initial certification, supervision, reissue of certification and resolution of complaints), which at least implies:

 

  • conducting appropriate assessments/checks by representatives of ZAVOD-CERT, according to the agreed schedule, in order for ZAVOD-CERT to be convinced and confirm the competence of the manufacturer to perform welding works;
  • representatives of ZAVOD-CERT to have access to all relevant production areas, for the purpose of acknowledging the performance of certified welding activities;
  • access to equipment in order to assess them according to established criteria;
  • verification of documents, including reports, certificates and other records relevant to certified activities;
  • access to welding coordination personnel and verification of their competence.

 

6. That they will publish their certification in a way that it portrays a real and accurate representation of the production capabilities covered by that certification and that they will use the certification without creating a doubt regarding the scope and content of the granted certification (Rules for the use of certification).

 

7. That, upon receiving a complaint from the customer regarding compliance with the requirements of the appropriate standard, they will determine the nature and justification of such complaints, take appropriate measures in relation to the flaws that affect compliance with certification requirements and make available records for the representatives of ZAVOD-CERT when requested.

 

8. That they will comply with the special decisions of ZAVOD-CERT which temporarily reduce, limit, suspend or withdraw the issued certification, which were adopted as a measure due to the violation of the requirements contained in this document.
