We would like to inform you that Welding Institute LLC Belgrade from May 2024 will start providing trainings for BASIC (Basic course - prerequisite for level 3) and non-destructive testing methods for level 3:
- Visual testing, level 3 (VT3);
- Penetrant testing, level 3 (PT3);
- Magnetic particle testing, level 3 (MT3);
- Ultrasonic testing, level 3 (UT3) and
- Radiographic testing, level 3 (RT3).
Certification for level 3 will be carried out by the Croatian Society for Non-Destructive Testing LLC Zagreb (HDKBR), which is accredited in accordance with the standard HRN EN ISO 17024 standard, in the area of personnel certification for non-destructive testing according to the HRN EN ISO 9712 standard, and which is authorized to issue approvals for NDT personnel in accordance with the European Pressure equipment directive (2014/68/EU - PED, Annex I, Paragraph 3.1.3).
Candidates who successfully pass the qualification exam for certification and fulfill other necessary conditions defined by the standards obtain a certificate for the level 3 method in accordance with the EN ISO 9712 standard and optionally in accordance with the PED.
The prerequisite for attending training and certification for individual methods for level 3 is completed BASIC training and passing the BASIC qualification exam.
Candidates who have passed the BASIC qualification exam with other certification bodies can submit proof of the passed exam for verification and if the HDKBR certification body accepts the qualification, the candidate will be able to apply directly for training for the desired level 3 method, without the need to retake the BASIC exam.
Trainings and qualification exams will be held in the business premises of the Welding Institute in Belgrade.
